Samsung Galaxy S10+ live image spotted, shows wide display hole for dual selfie cameras

first_imgThe Galaxy S10+ is rumoured to offer a large Infinity-O display, with a wider cutout in the screen compared to the regular Galaxy S10. This is because the Galaxy S10+ is the only phone among the three upcoming Galaxy S10 models to get dual front-facing cameras. We have seen renders of what this pill-shaped hole will look like, but this week we have a real-life image of what looks to be the Galaxy S10+ being used by someone. The live image of the Galaxy S10+ was posted on SlashLeaks and it shows the flagship’s front-facia. The image is not sharp but it is clear enough to notice the display hole on the top right corner of the screen. This is where Samsung will house dual front-facing cameras, which would be a first for the Galaxy S-series. The edges of the device seems to be covered on purpose so it is hard to tell the exact design, but it is pretty evident that the bezels have been reduced quite a bit all around. The live image suggests that Galaxy S10+ will offer a large and immersive display, but it will be interesting to see whether the wide cutout will be more distracting compared to the regular punch-hole display. The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 E will fall below the Plus-sized model and will both offer smaller, rounded cutouts on the display as they both will get a single selfie camera. Apar from a big display, the Galaxy S10+ is also said to get a large 4,000mAh battery like the Galaxy Note 9.advertisementSamsung will announce the Galaxy S10, S10 E and S10+ on February 20 ahead of MWC 2019. All three phones are expected to come with the latest Exynos 9820/ Snapdragon 855 chipset. They are also rumoured to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy S10+, in particular, is tipped to come with quad cameras on the back. This along with dual selfie cameras menas the phone will offer a total of six cameras.ALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Snapdragon 855, 6GB RAM gets benchmarked with impressive resultsALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy S10 live image reveals punch hole camera and thinner bezelslast_img
